Prevention Science in Practice

Addiction is Preventable

When we start early and work collaboratively — using proven prevention practices — we can get ahead of the risk factors that make people susceptible to addiction. Backed by the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and Emory Healthcare experts, the Addiction Alliance of Georgia offers addiction prevention services to help keep people, families and communities healthy and strong.

Ensures program efficacy with organizational assessments, prevention planning, student surveys, education and early intervention.
Address the specific needs of schools and organizations with adaptable and evidence-based curricula.
Includes opportunities and resources for professional development, program implementation and coaching.
Provides intensive educational and peer leadership programming led by addiction specialists who work alongside students.

We want to empower healthy and happy communities for everyone. If your school or organization needs support or guidance for preventing addiction, let’s talk.
