What to Expect With Our Outpatient Programs

Outpatient addiction programs at the Addiction Alliance of Georgia vary in the number of days per week you attend and the hours per day of attendance.

Low Intensity Outpatient Treatments

Low-intensity outpatient care follows you as you progress from clinically managed to self-managed recovery. Virtual addiction care appointments are available.




Intensive Outpatient Treatment

social-distance-meeting-1257688453The Alliance offers a morning intensive outpatient program that brings a higher level of outpatient care to patients with substance use disorders and consists of group therapy 3 days/week, 4 hours/day, individual therapy sessions, and comprehensive mental health evaluation and medication management. IOP is best for those not using daily. Those entering the program are agreeing to work towards abstinence while in the program. For those with goals of moderation, we suggest outpatient treatment.


Partial Hospitalization Program

female therapist speaking in a group sessionThe Alliance offers a morning partial hospitalization program that brings a higher level of outpatient care to patients with substance use disorders. The PHP consists of group therapy 5 days per week, 4 hours/day, weekly individual therapy sessions, and comprehensive mental health evaluation and medication management. Those entering this program are agreeing to work towards abstinence while in the program. For those with goals of moderation, we suggest outpatient treatment.
