A New Approach To Addiction

Support for Families at the Addiction Alliance of Georgia

When someone you love is struggling with addiction, your whole family feels the impact. Through our partnership between the Emory Addiction Center and Hazelden Betty Ford, families of AAG patients can access a full range of no‑cost education, guidance, and support services designed to help you heal and navigate this journey together.

Families of patients at the Emory Addiction Center/Addiction Alliance of Georgia are encouraged to participate in Family and Children’s Orientation/Education— a virtual program that helps families understand mental health and addiction concerns and their impact on relationships, communication, and recovery.

In addition, each family will have access to:

  • A dedicated Hazelden Betty Ford Family Access Coordinator (FAC) to provide essential case management and care navigation services for the family journey
  • The Hazelden Betty Ford virtual Family Program—four 90-minute virtual workshops
  • Up to six Family Coaching sessions
